I haven’t done this feature for awhile, but this week I was introduced to a brand new blog and I just couldn’t resist sharing it with you.
It’s called Hyperbole and a Half, and each post is a delightful creation of its author Allie, an incredibly talented writer and artist. The drawings are so expressive and detailed in spite of their simplicity that I found myself laughing out loud, even while alone at my computer. Each story relates an episode from her past in hilarious and intricate detail.
The latest post is hysterical, and then when I looked at the previous one, it made me laugh even harder. So my favorite blog post of the week is actually a favorite new blog, and I highly recommend both of these posts: The God of Cake and The Party.
Allie is not only funny and talented, she’s adorable too, and she deserves her millions of readers and the cool fact that she earns a living from her blog. I love to see humor and creativity rewarded! We can never get enough of either of them.
